“Cybertruck saved our lives”: Tesla owner survives high-speed crash with 5-year-old daughter

Imagine driving down the road with your child in the backseat—and out of nowhere, a drunk driver crashes into you at full speed. That’s exactly what happened to a Tesla Cybertruck owner who goes by the username “No Clue” on X (formerly Twitter).

But here’s the twist—despite the terrifying accident, both he and his 5-year-old daughter walked away without a single injury.

And he credits one thing for that: his Cybertruck.

A Nightmare on the Road

According to “No Clue,” he was driving with his daughter when a drunk driver ran a red light and slammed into his Cybertruck at 60 miles per hour. The crash was violent. The impact was so intense that it pushed the Cybertruck over a sidewalk and onto a grassy hill.

From the photos shared online, the damage is shocking—the rear window is shattered, the truck bed is mangled, and the rear wheel is completely missing. The airbags deployed, and the entire vehicle looks like it’s been through a warzone.

But somehow, both passengers walked away unharmed.

“Any Other Car Would’ve Flipped”

That’s not just the Cybertruck owner’s opinion. He says the police officers who arrived at the scene told him that if he had been driving anything else, the vehicle would have flipped and been torn apart.

“I’ll be buying a new Cybertruck this week,” he wrote on X. “If you love your family, buy a Tesla.”

A few days ago, our @cybertruck saved my life and the life of my 5-year-old daughter. We were T-boned by a drunk driver who ran a red light going 60 miles per hour.

His message quickly went viral, with Tesla fans and Cybertruck owners flooding the post with love and support.

Tesla Team Responds

Even Tesla’s own team took notice. Wes Morrill, the lead engineer for the Cybertruck, replied to the post saying:

“Unfortunate circumstance, but happy to hear Cybertruck protected your most valuable cargo.”

The official Tesla Cybertruck account also responded:

“Glad you & your daughter are ok.”

Support poured in from every corner of the Tesla community. Many users shared similar sentiments:

  • “Tesla saves lives!”
  • “So glad you’re okay. Thank God for Tesla!”
  • “The Cybertruck is a beast. This story proves it.”

Not the First Time a Cybertruck Took a Hit

While this story might sound like a miracle, it’s not the first time we’ve heard about the Cybertruck walking away from accidents with minimal damage—and more importantly, saving lives.

Just recently:

  • A Cybertruck hit a deer in Texas—the truck was fine, but the deer wasn’t.
  • Another driver got into a serious crash, and while the other car was totaled, the Cybertruck barely had a scratch.
  • One Cybertruck owner reported his airbags didn’t even deploy because the impact was so minor—while the other car was completely wrecked.

On the flip side, a few stories also show the reality of repairs. One owner paid over $13,000 after a small fender bender. Another said his Cybertruck was totaled after getting sideswiped—by an electric scooter!

Still, fans say it’s worth every penny if it means walking away alive.

Is the Cybertruck a Life-Saver?

“No Clue” seems to think so. Despite losing his beloved truck, he’s already decided to buy another one. For him, it’s not about looks or speed—it’s about safety. And when your child is in the car, that’s what matters most.

His story is now spreading fast across social media, and it’s starting an important conversation:

Is the Tesla Cybertruck one of the safest vehicles on the road today?

We’ll let you decide. But after hearing this story, many parents are looking at the Cybertruck in a whole new light.

What do you think?

Do you believe the Cybertruck saved his life? Would you consider buying a Tesla for your family’s safety?
